We are heading into the summertime season which means we are heading into blood donor shortages, especially in July-August. Schools also account for at least 21% of donor drives. School is out of session, which also decreases the amount of drives held. We hope you will join us on Monday, May 13th 12:30 - 6:30 p.m. at The Worthington Mall to donate blood. If you cannot, please urge friends or family members. Or commit to donating 1x over the summer when donors are non-existent. Cancer treatments kill healthy and infiltrated cells. Cancer patients frequently need blood and platelet transfusions to maintain their cancer fight. Please help the 4,828 patients that are diagnosed daily with cancer in the U.S.
